2. Information we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
- name, email address, phone number, preferred language, and contact preferences;
- mortgage purpose, residence status, employment category, income range, estimated credit-score range, debt amount, property-value information, and comments you choose to provide;
- preferred consultation date, time, meeting type, and topic;
- documents you deliberately upload through a separate secure application form;
- anonymous website events such as page views, phone or email clicks, form starts, successful requests, referring page, and UTM campaign parameters.
3. Purposes
We use information to respond to your request, understand what type of mortgage assistance may be relevant, follow up about an appointment, request appropriate supporting documents, communicate with lenders or service providers when authorized, maintain required business records, protect the website from abuse, and measure which marketing sources produce genuine inquiries.
4. Consent and limiting collection
We seek consent at or before collection and limit website forms to information reasonably needed for the stated purpose. Do not place SIN, banking passwords, identity documents, or complete credit reports in website Notes or ordinary email. When sensitive supporting documents are required, use the secure upload method provided by the brokerage.
5. Service providers and disclosure
Information may be processed by providers that support website hosting, email delivery, secure Google Forms and Drive workflows, security, professional advice, compliance, and mortgage application processing. Information may also be disclosed with your consent to lenders, insurers, appraisers, lawyers, credit bureaus, or other parties involved in a mortgage transaction, or when required or permitted by law. We do not sell personal information.
6. Website measurement
The website uses a first-party anonymous session identifier and local browser storage to preserve campaign attribution. The site records limited events without storing your IP address in the marketing event file. Website form contents are not written to the anonymous event log.
7. Safeguards and retention
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information. Access is limited to people and providers who need it for the stated purpose. Information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes and for applicable legal, regulatory, professional, and dispute-resolution requirements, after which it is securely deleted or anonymized where appropriate.
8. Access, correction, and withdrawal
You may contact the privacy contact above to ask whether we hold your personal information, request access or correction, or withdraw consent for future use, subject to legal, regulatory, contractual, and record-retention requirements. We may need to verify identity before completing a request.
9. Questions or complaints
Please contact us first so we can review and respond. You may also learn more about Canadian private-sector privacy rights from the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
10. Changes
We may update this notice when our practices or legal requirements change. Material changes will be highlighted on this page and, where required, additional consent will be requested.
